Building up a sweat for the Mother’s Day Classic
At Cbus Super, we’re thrilled to once again lace up our runners for the Mother’s Day Classic on Sunday 11 May 2025. This cherished event unites Australians in the fight against breast and ovarian cancer.
The Mother’s Day Classic was co-founded in 1998 by Mavis Robertson AM, a trailblazer in the superannuation industry and our inaugural fund secretary. Her vision has inspired countless individuals to come together, raising over $47 million for life-saving research since the event’s inception.
Building strength together
Team Cbus – made up of employees, their families, friends and our broader community – will be there on the day, walking and running, to honour those affected by these cancers.
“I am lacing up for the Mother’s Day Classic to honour the courage of a friend fighting breast cancer and to celebrate the resilience of women, especially mothers. As a new mum, I’ve come to understand the profound importance of health and strength, not just for myself, but for the precious little ones who call me “mummy”.”
- Jelieca, Team Cbus
Last year, Team Cbus was proud to be amongst the Largest Corporate Teams participating in the event. This year, we aim to surpass this achievement as we continue to support this vital charity.
Visit the Cbus village
Cbus look forward to meeting you at the events village in Melbourne, where we’ve planned child-friendly activities – help us colour, design and build a village! It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements and the spirit of the community that defines The Mother’s Day Classic.
So join us in building up a sweat for a good cause. Together, we can honour, support, and celebrate those touched by breast and ovarian cancer. Let’s make this year’s event the most impactful yet!
